Normally, I would argue that only publicly traded companies should have to released the salary information for their officers. But when you're talking about institutions where professors are sometimes paid six figure salaries while forcing the bulk of the work on unpaid teaching assistants, you have what is akin to slave wage labor exploitation. Full disclosure is the first step to rectify this travesty.
