This is the game I've been waiting to play on the XBOX 360 and every thing about it is beautiful--even the flying chunks of blood and body parts. You know this game is different from the first moment you step out of the prison cell in the beginning.

The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world where a demon horde of slithering and bulging mutants have slimed their way up through the crust of the earth forcing humanity to unleash a light mass weapon which devastated the surface of the planet, leaving everything in total ruin.

You play as Marcus, a soldier who went off the reservation to rescue this father and was thrown in solitary prison for life by a dickhead CO. You are broken out of prison just as the monsters have made their way into it to take it over. You are freed by your brother in arms, Dominic, who hooks you up with some sweet weapons (one of which is an automatic rifle with a chainsaw on the end (oh so very cool when slicing a bloody opponent to pulp in close quarter combat).

The game takes place over 36 hours and has some very cool, some very tough and some very scary parts. You can play through co-op with one of your buddies either online or in your own house (online is better because you get the full screen effect).

This is a game made by gamers for gamers and I give it a firm A+. You won't believe your eyes.
